The borders are crammed full of unusual 'so called' tender plants such as Melianthus major, Eucomis & Carpenteria californica that thrive outside & flower year after year. Cytisus battandieri drape the walls with their pineapple fragranced blooms.

On the other side of the driveway is a border full of Iris saved from being destroyed from the botanic gardens in Vilnius, Lithuania.
