Set against the dramatic
outline of Pockley church , the Spring
Garden is packed full ofericaceous plants
including many from the late Jim Russell's
plant hunting expeditions to Asia.
Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Daphnes, Vacciniums,
Meconopsis along with Shortias, Primulas,
Gentians and a collection of over 30 different
Epimediums. Colour continues through the
summer months with Tropaeoleum speciosum,
Cardiocrinums, Hydrangeas, Leptospermums
and lilies. |
